I like many of the others came onboard with Charley. Your site was the best place at the time to get info about what was going on in the area. We have been coming to Captiva for several years now and while I was a late bloomer to relaxing on the beach and decompressing Captiva changed all of that. We try to get down yearly. We really love this place and your site keeps us there even when we can't be thanks!! We'll be there again in June on Lakia Lane with a couple of grandkids and a couple of cold ones Good times!!!  |

I actually was on another board, which has since dwindled to a bare existence. Most of the active posters there moved to this board and I eventually followed due to a lack of activity on the other board.
I found the other board looking for info on shark attacks one year (several years back) when there were a lot of FL attacks shortly before we went to Sanibel. It seems most of that board moved to this one shortly after Charlie.
